News: PRP Launches New "Torrent" Vinyl Effect
"Torrent" is the first new vinyl effect to be launched by the GZ Group in 2026.

As vinyl effects evolve across the industry, our priority is always innovation and quality assurance. We’re constantly evolving our manual effects by refining existing recipes and creating new ones that retain consistent production and audio playback. Our newest effect, Torrent, pushes PRP's pressing creativity into new territory.
What Is Torrent?
We wanted to create an effect that feels energetic and alive before the needle even drops. Inspired by the force of a powerful stream, Torrent captures a sense of momentum and movement in its visual impact.
Torrent is a semi-opaque manual effect with a lustrous metallic finish. Each combination of colors produces a liquid-like, inward-rushing pattern that appears to spread across the surface of the record. This dynamic effect shares structural similarities with our A Side / B Side effect, meaning each side is visually distinct, and no two vinyl records are identical.
