News: GZNA's Vinyl Library Is Now Available

GZNA’s Vinyl Visualizer was designed to help artists make informed vinyl decisions using real pressing photos, not simulations.

Over the past three months, more than 20,000 users have explored the Vinyl Visualizer, offering feedback that directly shaped this newest series of updates. These improvements make the Vinyl Visualizer more intuitive, more transparent, and more aligned with what artists need at every stage of vinyl package conceptualization.

Below is a detailed breakdown of what’s new:

1. Full Access to the Vinyl Library

One of the most significant updates is the opening of the entire vinyl sample catalog. The Vinyl Library now allows users to explore the complete archive of photographed, real press samples.

The Library provides access to thousands of images organized by:

Effect type (splatter, blends, color-in-color, etc.)
Color codes
Opacity categories (Translucent, Opaque or Semi-opaque)

Every image shown remains a documented press result, ensuring creators base their decisions on accurate physical references rather than approximation.

2. Smarter, More Powerful Search Tools

The updated search bar lets users type in any color name, pressing method, color code, or effect, such as “O15,” “2CAB,” or “Hot Pink”, and instantly see all relevant samples.

The search engine now:

Surfaces all available sample photos, including those with added splatter
Supports searches for opacity categories like Translucent, Opaque or Semi-opaque
Supports searches for Manual and Automatic

These enhancements help users navigate a complex catalog with speed and accuracy, making the Vinyl Library more efficient as a planning tool.

3. Filter Options

Alongside the new search bar, the Vinyl Library now offers a grid view of all press samples, making it easier to scan and compare results at a glance. Users can filter by effect type, with the total number of matching results clearly displayed to reflect available samples.

The splatter toggle allows users to include or hide records that combine splatter with other effects, making it easier to find your desired sample.

4. Direct Mockup Creation From the Vinyl Library

One of the most requested features is now live: users can create a vinyl mockup directly from any sample.

The workflow is simple:

Select a sample photo in the Library
Click “Mockup”
Upload your jacket, center label and insert artwork
Customize your mockup, share and download

From the Vinyl Library, you can now test drive your options with your artwork before pressing, useful for internal approvals, or creating marketing collateral before a release.
