Last Generation

Last Generation is a climate crisis rock opera by The Living Orchestra, a 12-piece ensemble from British Columbia. Blending classical chamber music with rock, metal, and funk, the album tackles pressing issues from government corruption to global warming.

The band's commitment to environmental causes extends beyond the music. A portion of purchases made through their website supports Canadian environmental charities, making the physical release another opportunity to put their values into practice.

For Last Generation, The Living Orchestra worked with Precision Record Pressing to produce 300 copies through our exPRESS Vinyl Pack. The album was pressed on Graphite (EM6) Eco Mix, a compound made from 100% recycled vinyl. Its smoky grey tones and naturally varied patterns give each record a distinct appearance.

By choosing Eco Mix, the band gives leftover vinyl material a new life and helps divert PVC waste from landfills. It thoughtfully connects the album's environmental message to the physical record, bringing the project's themes into listeners' hands.
