Par Ásito – Live on KEXP

KEXP is a listener-supported Seattle radio station with a worldwide community of music fans, best known for bringing artists into the studio for its acclaimed LIVE on KEXP sessions. As a donor-funded organization, the station relies on those listeners to keep it going. KEXP created the Vinyl Club Donor Campaign. For a limited time, this campaign rewarded donors with exclusive vinyl releases featuring performances from LIVE on KEXP, delivered to their doorstep.  

One of those sessions came from Guadalajara's Par Ásito, who made their LIVE on KEXP debut in November 2024. PRP pressed audio from the performance on 12-inch Black (BK) vinyl. 

To get those records into the hands of supporters worldwide, KEXP partnered with Precision Record Pressing to develop a bespoke fulfillment solution that combines manufacturing and distribution. The program was built around six shipments throughout the year, sent every two months, with two LPs per shipment. Consolidating releases this way helped reduce shipping costs while creating a regular rhythm of new music arriving at donors' doors.

In total, KEXP delivered thousands of shipments across North America, giving it a cost-effective way to offer something special to its supporters.
