Ali / Mega Cat - Live on KEXP

The KEXP Vinyl Club is a donor campaign that brings performances from the station’s LIVE on KEXP series to vinyl, giving supporters exclusive records as a thank you for supporting the station.

To bring the idea to life, KEXP partnered with Precision Record Pressing to keep manufacturing and direct-to-consumer fulfillment under one roof. For the first drop, performances from Ali and mega cat were brought together on a 12-inch Black (BK) vinyl LP, with Ali on Side A and mega cat on Side B.

Once the donor campaign closed, PRP handled the next steps, from pressing the records to packing and shipping them directly to supporters. Each shipment contained two LPs and was fulfilled using donor information exported from KEXP's donor portal.

Every two months, donors had two new records arriving at their door. By batching deliveries on a bimonthly schedule, KEXP reduced shipping costs and gave donors a consistent, predictable release cadence.
