Our Roots Run Deep

Dominique Fils-Aimé is a modern jazz vocalist whose records have earned recognition both for their music and their exceptional recording and engineering quality, making them an immersive listen on vinyl and digital formats alike.

Released in 2023 via Ensoul Records, Our Roots Run Deep won the 2024 JUNO Award for Vocal Jazz Album of the Year and the 2024 Félix Award for Jazz Album of the Year at ADISQ. Throughout the album, intricate percussion, warm vocals and layered arrangements come together to create a rich, intimate sound.

For the vinyl release, the album was pressed on Black (BK) heavyweight 180g vinyl, giving the physical edition a substantial feel to match the care and detail of the recording.
