Songs We Didn't Write

Buffalo-based band Organ Fairchild released their third full-length album, Songs We Didn't Write, in June  2024. This album features a unique collection of instrumental covers of iconic songs by artists like The Beatles, The Grateful Dead, Harry Styles, Bob Marley, and Leonard Cohen. As an organ trio, they creatively reinterpret these classics, with all bass parts played on the keyboard, revealing fresh colors and textures. A highlight of the album is "Hard to Handle," featuring legendary guitarist Jorma Kaukonen of Jefferson Airplane. With this innovative approach, Songs We Didn't Write showcases Organ Fairchild’s musicianship while paying homage to the timeless songs they cover.  This record was pressed on a Black (BK) 180g high quality vinyl.
