Blestemul din Adânc

Released in Canada and available exclusively in-store through Futhark Records, Blestemul din Adânc (the curse of the deep) is the third full-length album from Romanian old-school Death Metal band Putred, following 2025’s Megalit al Putrefacției (Megalith of Rot).

For fans of underground Death Metal, Blestemul din Adânc delivers a fresh take on a familiar sound. Blistering drums and shredding guitar melodies meet thick, twangy basslines that cut through the mix, while guttural growls add to the album’s menacing atmosphere.

The album walks a curious line between upbeat, energetic rhythms and a dark, morbid atmosphere. This compelling contrast makes the record an exciting listen for anyone curious about what narrowly escaping death might sound like.

For this Canadian-exclusive vinyl release, Futhark Records chose our HB53 (Gatsby) Metallic Blend featuring deep, dark tones with a shimmering gold finish. Housed in a standard single jacket with a printed insert, the record's metallic appearance complements the album's sinister atmosphere, giving this underground death metal release a striking physical presentation.
