Hissteria

Cat Temper is the alias of Boston-based artist Mike Langlie, blending retro synthpop, electro, punk, metal, and 8-bit video game sounds. Operating on the fringe of the synthwave movement, Cat Temper’s genre-bending style has been dubbed “Meowave” by fans.

His album Hissteria was pressed through our exPRESS Vinyl Packs program using Landever EcoMix, a custom compound made from recycled vinyl. The result is a one-of-a-kind pressing featuring organic textures and swirling purple and pink hues that naturally emerge from the recycled materials.
