Dancing and Crying Vol. 2

Dancing and Crying Vol. 2 is a 7-track EP from Canadian singer and multi-instrumentalist, Kiesza. Blending multiple genres including Dance, House and her signature Synth-Pop, the EP sees the artist delve deep and explore sensuality and emotional vulnerability in equal measure.

Using the striking monochrome photography provided Kiesza, we sourced complementary typography that reflected the EP’s visual theme of bold expression, sex and sensuality. We also designed the center labels and overall package layout to ensure a cohesive aesthetic. Collaboration with the client was key throughout and we held a video call with Kiesza’s representatives, in which we explored multiple design directions before arriving at a unified visual identity.
