Not Who I Thought I Was: the evil who brought us joy

Rahway, New Jersey artist '89 The Brainchild takes an eccentric approach to hip-hop on Not Who I Thought I Was: The Evil Who Brought Us Joy, released through Fused Arrow. Drawing from underground and avant-garde hip-hop, the album explores an eclectic mix of sounds and textures, with sinister atmospheres and experimental production throughout.

Pressed by Precision Record Pressing, the 12-inch vinyl features a 3 Color Segment effect with Baby Pink (O8), Cobalt (T3), and Bone (O14). Drawn from the album artwork, the color palette brings elements of the visual design onto the record itself, creating a cohesive presentation across the vinyl and packaging.
